Job Description:
The Team Leader is responsible for system engineering projects (planning, progress tracking, resources management) concerning layouts of upcoming powertrains, engines, exhaust gas and sensor systems and control strategies. The particular focus is on Diesel powertrains for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and off-road applications. The Team Leader will coordinate a team (2-5 engineers) with the targets:                         
* Define project scopes for system assessments
* Fulfill project requirements (in time, in specs, in costs)
Steer and foster both calculation/ simulation activities as well as testing environment setup, testing execution, data post-processing and results evaluation
* Be responsible for the derivation of system requirements, including project/ customer documentation
* Be responsible customer interface (priorities setup, meetings, requests, reporting, escalation, etc.)

Qualification:
* Master degree in Engineering (ME/EE) or similar fields
* Minimum 5 years experience in the automotive systems field and, in particular, knowledge about gasoline engine/vehicle control module calibration techniques and standards
* High motivation and willingness to take responsibilities, self-standing personality, flexibility and ability to work under pressure
* Pronounced leadership skills (result orientation, resources optimization, people empowerment, conflict management)
* Proactive working style, team player
* Customer orientation
* Availability for abroad assignments for short or medium periods
* Good English language skills required; in best case, basic knowledge of German language
